Abigail Hauslohner is the Post’s Cairo bureau chief. Before joining the Post, she was a Middle East correspondent for Time magazine. She has been based in Cairo since 2009, and she has covered the revolutions in Egypt and Libya.

Richard Leiby

Rich Leiby is the Post's correspondent in Pakistan. His previous assignments at the newspaper have included stints as a reporter, columnist and editor in Washington.

William Booth is the Post’s Jerusalem bureau chief. He was previously bureau chief in Mexico, Los Angeles and Miami.

Kevin Sieff became the Post's Afghanistan bureau chief in January 2012, after covering education for the newspaper from Washington.
