Kabul hotel attacked by Taliban
As many as eight suicide bombers and gunmen attacked a landmark hotel overlooking the Afghan capital late Tuesday, first exploding a vehicle at its main gate and then entering the building. An hours-long firefight ended when NATO helicopters fatally shot insurgents on the building’s roof.
