Growth of Afghan army and police
Afghanistan's army and police have doubled in size since 2009. As concern mounts about the abilities and loyalties of Afghan soldiers and policemen, a growing number of military officers and civilian specialists are questioning whether the United States and its NATO allies built too large of a force too quickly.
