Israeli Airforce Receives Latest Generation Of UAV's

The Israeli Air Force introduces the Eitan, the latest generation of the Israel Aerospace Industries' successful Heron UAV and considered the world's best unmanned aircraft, at a ceremony on February 21, 2010 at the Tel Nof air base in central Israel. The Eitan is physically larger than any other drone and can fly at higher altitudes. It can also carry a heavier payload and is equipped with more advanced technological systems than its predecessors. Its 20-hour flying time will allow it to operate as far away as Iran.
