Park wardens walk past an elephant that died after licking sand from a salt lick, which poachers poisoned with cyanide, in Hwange National Park, north of Harare, Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe has some of Africa's largest elephant herds, but poaching is on the rise and more brutal methods are being used to kill the animals. Ninety elephants were reportedly killed after cyanide was used to poison a water hole in Hwange National Park.
