Samoa crosses international dateline

Dec. 30, 2011 - Samoa crossed the International Dateline. The island-nation skipped December 30, jumping from December 29 straight to December 31. The move brings Samoa onto the same calendar page as its local trading partners. (Dec. 30) (/The Associated Press) Correction: Clarification:
