‘Street View’ hits rivers, dirt paths in the Amazon
Google introduced Street View in a remote area of the Amazon, giving Internet users the ability to witness an area of the globe that they might never have otherwise seen.

The Google Street View Trike sits atop a boat on the Rio Negro, a tributary of the Amazon. Google Street View provides 360-degree panoramic images of the area in Tumbira, Brazil, capturing the beauty of a location few people will get to experience firsthand. Google took images from the river and dirt paths in remote villages where they were invited by local residents.
