Trunk show: In Nepal, elephants are off to the races
The Nepalese town of Sauraha, a hub for wildlife tourism in the Chitwan district, attracted visitors with a three-day festival that featured elephant races, elephant soccer and other events.

An elephant scratches its eye while lining up for a race at the Nepalese town of Sauraha in Chitwan district, about 106 miles south of Kathmandu. The race attracted teams from Nepal, Britain, China, Germany, Brazil and other countries, organizers said.
