Siemens high-speed rail transforms economies at 220 miles an hour.
From the Velaro to the turnkey project.
They already glide through the sunny Spanish countryside and the frigid Russian winter. Everywhere they go, they bring economic development and green jobs. And someday soon, they might connect to our cities too. They’re Siemens high-speed trains. From the world’s fastest 220 miles per hour high speed systems – such as those planned for Florida and California – to 110-150 miles per hour systems for elsewhere in the U.S., Siemens can provide the trains, the automation systems, the electrification, and the world-class engineering know-how to bring it all together.
And we’re ready to build them in our U.S. factories. In 2009, we completed a $26 million expansion to our Sacramento manufacturing facility, and we also recently purchased 20 acres adjacent to our 34-acre plant for further expansion. We have an established workforce of more than 700 people and a supplier base whose diversity mirrors the communities we serve.
Somewhere in America, our team of more than 60,000 people has already answered our nation’s toughest questions. And we’re ready to do it again.
