Few people are skilled at effectively negotiating their salary and benefits. Feeling flattered with being offered a job, many job
seekers hurriedly accept the first offer rather than talk about what they feel is the touchy subject of money. Other job seekers
make salary mistakes during the interview that may knock them out of the competition altogether.
Whatever your situation, make
sure you approach the salary question in a positive and professional manner. Know what you're worth and communicate your
value loud and clear to employers. Don't be afraid to talk about money, but do so at the right time and with the right approach. If
you follow a few simple rules, you should be able to get what you're really worth and start your job on the right foot. Here are
some of the major "do's" and "don'ts" savvy job seeker observe when they negotiate salaries.
Salary Savvy - Do's
