Interview Savvy - Do's

  1. DO research the company, the department, and when possible, the interviewer
  2. DO prepare strategies for answering questions you expect to be asked
  3. DO formulate questions you wish to ask the interviewer
  4. DO cite evidence of past accomplishments and keep focused on what you can do for the company
  5. DO be enthusiastic

Interview Sins—Don'ts

  1. DON'T arrive late for the interview
  2. DON'T emorize possible responses to expected interview questions
  3. DON'T "run down" your present (or former) employer, the competition or other candidates
  4. DON'T accept the job on the spot. Ask for at least 48 hours to consider the offer
  5. DON'T leave the interview without a clear idea of what will happen next regarding your candidacy
