Caroline H. Little is chief executive officer and publisher of
Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive (WPNI), which operates washingtonpost.com,
newsweek.com, Slate and Budget Travel Online.
Little joined WPNI in 1997 as general counsel and went on to serve as chief
operating officer and president. She became CEO and publisher in January 2004.
Little serves as Chair of the Advisory Board for The Posse Foundation, Inc D.C.
branch. She also serves as Vice Chair of the Online Publishers Association and
on the Board of the American Press Institute. Little is a trustee of Grinnell.
Prior to joining WPNI, Little was deputy general counsel at U.S. News & World
Report, The Atlantic Monthly and Fast Company. She also served as an associate
at the law firm of Arnold & Porter.
Little received a BA from Wesleyan University and a J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she graduated with honors.
