Homepage Power Ad: washingtonpost.com home page offering only. The homepage power ad on washingtonpost.com is the combination of two ad unit pieces:
Power Ad Option A
One main unit (full-page takeover 760x425) and a fixed position big box (336x280 or 300x250) on the home page. The two units are not connected. On delivery, please supply the fonts, .fla and .swf files.
OR
Power Ad Option B
One main unit (Slider Ad 965x600 expanded and 965x30 collapsed) and a fixed position big box (336x280 or 300x250) on the home page. The two units are not connected. On delivery, please supply the fonts, .fla and .swf files.
Functionality displays only on PC's with IE 5.5 and higher (does not apply to the fixed big box).
I. Power Ad Option A Specifications
- Main Ad Unit: Full-Page Takeover
- Pixel size: 760x425 with 30K rich media max or 20K gif/jpg max.
- Frequency caps are required.
- On the homepage, the full-page takeover has up to 7 seconds animation max.
- Ad must be opaque.
- Up to 100K in polite download is allowed.
- Full-page takeover ads may only be viewed on certain browsers and operating system platforms. WPNI will test full-page takeover ads and will not show the ad for any browsers or operating systems where the technology causes system instability. At present WPNI full-page takeover ads will only be delivered to the Windows version of Internet Explorer 5.5 and above.
