I welcome the publication of a special advertising supplement in “The Washington Post” with a view to widening and intensifying the bilateral relationship that exists between Bangladesh and USA.
The official visit of the US President Mr. Bill Clinton to Bangladesh and the ensuing official visit of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to USA undoubtedly highlight our firm bilateral relations. The economic relations between the two countries are growing rapidly. Bangladesh pursues liberal global market policies and encourages foreign investments particularly in the technology intensive sectors. The government is providing all possible facilities to foreign investors. We do hope investors from the US as well as other countries will choose Bangladesh as their investment destination.
