Three Commissions of the Government of Mexico
The tasks of the new government in Mexico are divided among three
commissions which include the participation of all Ministers and heads
of governmental bodies.
A government of bridges that is founded on three essential values:
- Human Development
- Growth with Quality
- Order and Respect
Bridges between economic growth, human development, and democratic life.
Bridges between political, economic, and social freedom. Bridges between the included and the excluded. Bridges between things local and global. Bridges between tradition and modernity, and bridges between the pride in our roots and the nobility of our objectives.
Human Development.
Builds bridges to include all Mexicans, men and women alike, in the
development of the country. Its key objective is to coordinate
investment aimed at eliminating extreme social imbalances and to ensure
a life of dignity for all, promoting the individual and collective
initiatives of Mexicans, particularly those who, since time immemorial,
have awaited justice and who suffer daily misery, abandonment,
ignorance, and violence. This category includes educational, cultural,
and health programs intended to create the capacities which make it
possible to multiply the human potential of every citizen and that tend
to the needs of the vulnerable groups and that tackle regional
imbalances. In brief, all actions that promote social equity.
Growth with Quality.
Erects bridges that link macroeconomic orthodoxy with microeconomic
heterodoxy those that expand economic freedom and the democratization
of markets; that broaden trade flows, investment, and the transfer of
technology; that are conducive to greater harmony with the Middle
East; and, that incorporate and support individual and entrepreneurial
initiative and creativity throughout the entire country. Its job is
to responsibly manage the economy, to broaden and expand competitiveness
and promote dynamic growth that is inclusive and sustainable, and
that opens up opportunities and lays the foundations of a better life
for all.
Order and Respect.
Constructs bridges that sustain democratic governance, respect for the
law and human rights, improved systems of law enforcement and public
security, the combat against drug trafficking and organized crime, as
well as actions aimed at eliminating corruption and at achieving
governmental work that is clean and transparent.
The three commissions are backed by a considerable investment in human
capital. Achieving their objectives requires a government of
quality; one that costs less and provides more and better services to
the people. A government that can finance public expenditure in a
healthy manner and that has the financial wherewithal to fight poverty
and inequality. |
