Spread the Wealth. The Rams won in Seattle last weekend in large part because of the contributions from their third and fourth wide receivers, Kevin Curtis and Shaun McDonald. They'll probably need big plays from them again if they're going to have any chance in Atlanta. The Falcons will be focusing on starting wide receivers Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce, so quarterback Marc Bulger might be able to find Curtis and McDonald in some mismatches.
Save the Timeouts. The St. Louis offense maddeningly squandered one timeout after another in Seattle, but the Rams managed to win anyway. The margin for error is slimmer against the Falcons.
Spy Vick. The Rams defense isn't good enough to deal with the running of quarterback Michael Vick while sticking to its usual schemes. The Rams need to have at least one player assigned to Vick on every play, a "spy," hanging around the line of scrimmage and trying to make sure he doesn't see open field in front of him to take off and run.
