The Loudoun County Animal Shelter, at 39820 Charles Town Pike (Route 9) in Waterford, offers pets for adoption to anyone over 18. More pets can be seen at www.loudoun.gov/animals. The shelter has animal viewing and adoption hours from 1 to 6 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays; 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays.
