Contest 253: Final Fare

Tourists and Londoners alike are mourning the retirement of the beloved double-decker Routemaster buses that have served the capital for 50 years. They will be shipped to a town southwest of Jewell Ridge, Va., where they will be ceremoniously burned.

Name the town.

RESULTS FROM NO. 251: GOLD RUSH

In Contest 251, we noted that protesters at the Republican National Convention were worried that if they got arrested, they'd be shipped to a town northeast of Stevens Village, Alaska. Congratulations to Claire O'Brien of Woodbridge, who wins a Travel section mousepad for targeting Purgatory.

Next week: Winner of Contest 252 (Pageantry)
