. . . Seen the Tropical Side of the Mall

Sunday, January 19, 2003; Page C02

. . . seen the tropical side of the Mall. Washington can be drab and gray in January, but it's always summer on the patio at the Organization of American States. The lush space anchors an office building impressive enough to do a hemisphere proud. Out back, a small art museum features rotating exhibits that serve as a warm-up to the star attraction: a stunning blue-tiled loggia, decorated in Aztec and Inca designs. Take the time to plan a tour . . . and be sure to see the "world's longest underground mural."
