GREEN BAY, Wis., Dec. 20 -- Green Bay wide receiver Robert Ferguson was expected to be hospitalized a second night as he recovers from a hit across the neck that initially left him with no feeling in his legs in the Jacksonville Jaguars' 28-25 victory over the Packers in Green Bay on Sunday.
Packers Coach Mike Sherman said Monday that Ferguson regained some feeling on the ambulance ride to a nearby hospital and that "all signs indicate he'll be fine."

Sherman said Ferguson was still experiencing headaches as well as neck and back pain from the clothesline hit by Donovin Darius. Sherman said there was "no indication that this is career threatening." Ferguson was undergoing more tests Monday afternoon.
"I do not believe he was ever knocked out, but I can't honestly say for sure," Sherman said. "I'm sure he had some sort of concussive blow to the head and neck. His lower body problems were a result of head and neck trauma. . . . He's a great kid. The way he put his thumb up [as he was being taken off the field on a stretcher] . . . he's a special guy."
Sherman said after the game he thought the hit was a "cheap shot." Asked about his assessment again on Monday after looking at film of the play, he said, "I made my evaluation [Sunday] when you asked me, and I haven't changed."
Jaguars Coach Jack Del Rio said he expected Darius, who drew an unnecessary roughness penalty and was ejected, to be fined but not suspended. "It was a nasty shot, but I don't believe his intent was to headhunt the guy," Del Rio said. The NFL is expected to review the play, and Darius, who was not available Monday to comment, likely will be fined later this week.
McGahee Is Day-to-Day
Although Bills running back Willis McGahee has a hyperextended and bruised right knee that could prevent him from playing against San Francisco on Sunday, tests conducted Monday showed the injury is not more severe than initially feared and will not require surgery. Coach Mike Mularkey would only list McGahee as day-to-day, declining to discuss the severity of the injury. Buffalo (8-6) is 8-1 in games McGahee has started and won all six in which he's rushed for 100 yards.
Two Raiders Arrested
Four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Charles Woodson and safety Marques Anderson were arrested early Monday for investigation of public intoxication. The Oakland Police Department said the players were arrested at 4:20 a.m. in downtown Oakland after refusing to leave the back seat of a woman's car. Both were jailed briefly and released, police spokeswoman Danielle Ashford said.
