LAFAYETTE 64, AMERICAN 61: With a chance at earning the top seed in next week's Patriot League tournament, the Eagles shot 34 percent and lost to the previously winless Leopards in Easton, Pa.
American (14-13, 9-5), led in scoring by Chanel Spriggs with 18 points, will be the second or third seed in the tournament. Lafayette is 1-26, 1-13.
GEORGETOWN 76, PROVIDENCE 59: Rebekkah Brunson led four players in double figures with 30 points as the Hoyas (13-13, 7-8 Big East) earned the easy road victory.
Brunson added a game-high 13 rebounds for her 16th double-double of the season. The Friars are 4-22, 0-15.
HAMPTON 81, HOWARD 56: Lynetta Sullivan went 8 of 8 from the field, scoring a game-high 17 points, as the Pirates raced past the visiting Bison.
With 15 points, Christina Aden was the only player in double figures for the Howard (10-15, 10-6 MEAC), which made just 4 of 32 shots in the first half. Hampton improved to 12-12, 12-4.
ARMY 65, NAVY 60: Adrienne Roseti had 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 steals and Courtney Davidson added 14 points in the Midshipmen's loss in the teams' regular season finale in West Point, N.Y.
Navy fell to 13-16, 6-8 Patriot League. Katie Macfarlane finished with 16 points and 19 rebounds for the Black Knights (14-13, 6-8). The teams finished tied for sixth in the league.
