A STERN REMINDER. June 11-13 is all about boats at NorfolkHarborfest. Blackbeard dukes it out in a pirate ship battle, tugboats race and more than 300 tall ships, military craft and other vessels make up the "Parade of Sail." Celebrate National Rowing Day with coed heats and dockside rowing simulation equipment at Saturday's Crawford Bay Crew Classic. Patty Loveless croons, Vertical Horizon rocks and the gravity-defying Caribbean Mocko Jumbie Stilt Dancers provide land-locked entertainment.
