MAZE DAYS -- AND NIGHTS. Lose yourself -- literally -- in autumn at the vast corn maze of Maple Lawn Farms, weekends through Nov. 14 in New Park, Pa. Exploring this eight-acre maze will test your memory and nerves, particularly when the sun sets and a flashlight is all you'll have to guide your way through the Tyrannosaurus Rex-shaped warren. The corn maze is the largest component of the Maize Quest complex, which also offers an interactive mining adventure, a Celtic labyrinth and mazes made of bamboo and rope. Bring your own flashlight.

Open Oct. 11, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Nov. 2, 8 and 9, to 8 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday, to 10 p.m, Sunday 1 to 7 p.m. through Nov. 14. $8. About 90 minutes from the Beltway (roughly between Baltimore and Harrisburg, Pa.) in New Park, Pa. 866-935-6738, www.cornmaze.com/pa.
