Fatal Shooting Police in Prince George's County said yesterday that they were investigating the shooting of a Suitland man slain near his residence late Monday.

Arrest in Killings A 19-year-old man has been charged in the shooting deaths of two teenagers last year in Southeast Washington, the U.S. Marshals Service said yesterday.

Gerard Williams was arrested by members of the marshal-led Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force about 7 p.m. Monday near his grandmother's house in the 700 block of Congress Street SE, officials said.

Williams is the third person charged with first-degree murder in shootings that killed 17-year-old Antwain Holroyd and 16-year-old Michael Simms, police said. Three other young men were wounded in the same shooting early July 11 in the 2900 block of Pomeroy Road SE.

Slain Man Identified D.C. police yesterday identified Louis Barrino, 26, as the man slain during a triple shooting in Northeast Washington early Monday.

Barrino and three other men were in a sport-utility vehicle struck by gunfire during a drive-by shooting about 4 a.m. at 17th and D streets NE, police said. Two others in the car were wounded.

VIRGINIA

Alexandria Slaying A man was found fatally shot last night on a street at the edge of Old Town Alexandria, city police said.

The killing appeared to be the first in Alexandria in almost six months, and the second in more than 14 months.

The man, who was not identified immediately, was found in the 700 block of North Fayette Street, a short distance from the Braddock Road Metro stop. Police, who were called to the block shortly before 11 p.m., said they found the man with a wound in the torso. They said they knew of no motive or suspects.

The place where the man was found was about five blocks north of where a pizza delivery man was killed in September.

Sexual Assault A McLean man being sought for allegedly sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl he met on the Internet turned himself in to Fairfax County authorities Monday night, police said yesterday.

Oliver E. Smith, 22, had been sought since Saturday, when police in Bridgewater, Va., notified Fairfax police that a 14-year-old runaway might be staying with Smith in the 6600 block of Hazel Lane. The girl told police that she met Smith on the Internet and that he had picked her up in Bridgewater five days earlier.

Smith was charged with carnal knowledge of a child without force. He was arraigned yesterday and ordered held without bond.
