Sacramento (7-8) won for the fourth time in five games.

Chamique Holdsclaw had 11 points for Washington (2-10), which made the playoffs for the first time in franchise history last season but has lost 10 of 11.

Sacramento opened the second half with a 12-3 run that gave it a 53-32 lead. Walker hit a short jumper and Edna Campbell nailed a three-pointer to open the half.

After Holdsclaw's three-pointer, Penicheiro and Smith led Sacramento on a 7-0 run and the rout was on.

Sacramento shot 52 percent (30-of-57) from the field, while the Mystics hit just 35 percent (26-of-73).

After re-injuring her right hamstring against Cleveland on June 20, Holdsclaw was expected to sit out for a third straight game. She was 4-for-10 and had eight points and four rebounds in the first half.
