Wizards trail 41-22 when Grizzlies forward Bonzi Wells hits a three-pointer with 6 minutes 39 seconds left in the second quarter. Forward Antawn Jamison matches Grizzlies' output with 22 points during a 54-22 run, and the Wizards take a 13-point lead into the fourth quarter. With only eight players available because Gilbert Arenas, Larry Hughes, Brendan Haywood and Anthony Peeler are serving suspensions, the Wizards win at the debut of FedEx Forum. Jamison scores season-high 34 points. Juan Dixon scores season-high 28.

12-point deficit in fourth quarter

110-105 win in overtime

Wizards blow a 17-point first-half lead and are behind 84-72 at the start of the fourth quarter. Arenas, Hughes and Jamison combine to score 12 points during a 15-3 run over the next 4:08 to tie the game. Jamison scores 27, Arenas has 25 and Hughes 21.

116-114 loss in overtime

Hughes and Arenas provide all the scoring during a 13-2 run over 2:11 as the Wizards erase a nine-point fourth-quarter deficit against the Philadelphia 76ers. They even take a short-lived 95-93 lead after a dunk by Hughes. Jarvis Hayes sends the game into overtime with a three-pointer at the buzzer. The Wizards lose when Allen Iverson steals an inbounds pass and scores with two-tenths of a second left. Coach Eddie Jordan misses this game and the Raptors game two days later after being hospitalized with a blood clot in his left leg.

Nov. 28 at Toronto

Nine-point deficit with 2:55 left

114-109 win in overtime

The Wizards trail 97-88 with 2:55 left after Raptors swingman Jalen Rose hits a three-pointer, but they close regulation on a 12-3 run. Hughes and Hayes hit three-pointers, Arenas hits a left-handed layup and a fallaway jumper, and Hughes sends the game into overtime with two free throws with 0.8 remaining. Hughes scores 21 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter and records his first career triple-double with 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
