HOMICIDES

BRENTWOOD RD., 1000 block, 5:55 p.m. Dec. 31. Jade Hodge, 41, of Alexandria, was found in a grocery store parking lot with gunshot wounds to the head. Hodge was pronounced dead at the D.C. Medical Examiner's Office.

E ST., 1600 block, 8:30 p.m. Dec. 31. Antonio Burnette, 25, was found on a sidewalk with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Washington Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:31 p.m.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

18TH PL., 1200 block, 7 p.m. Oct. 23 to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 20. A sexual assault occurred at a residence.

ROBBERIES

BENNING RD., 1600 block, 9 a.m. Jan. 1. A robbery occurred on a sidewalk.

BENNING RD., 1800 block, 7:30 to 7:35 p.m. Dec. 31. A gunman assaulted a female pedestrian and robbed her of cash.

CHILLUM PL., 5300 block, 10:15 to 10:30 p.m. Jan. 1. Gunmen got out of a vehicle and approached a female driver leaving another vehicle. No further information was provided by police.

CLAY ST., 6200 block, 3:10 p.m. Dec. 31. Two males got out of a vehicle and robbed two pedestrians of a coat and cash, then fled in the vehicle.

EADS ST., 4700 block, 7:30 a.m. Jan. 4. A robbery occurred.

FORT TOTTEN DR. AND HAMILTON ST., 6 a.m. Jan. 4. A robbery occurred.

GALLOWAY ST., 400 block, 5:10 p.m. Jan. 6. A gunman demanded cash from a male walking to a vehicle. No further information was provided by police.

GALLOWAY ST., 400 block, 8:32 to 8:34 p.m. Jan. 6. A male with a gun threatened a female pedestrian and robbed her of a purse. A male, 16, was arrested.

GIRARD ST., 1-99 block, 4:45 a.m. Jan. 2. A male passenger demanded property from a male driver and ordered him to get out of the vehicle. No further information was provided by police.

KENDALL ST., 1800 block, 12:37 a.m. Dec. 31. A gunman robbed three pedestrians of cash and cell phones. One pedestrian was assaulted by the gunman, who fled with another male.

LINCOLN RD., 2200 block, 4:10 to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 22. A male robbed a person of a purse containing cash and property.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE., 1-99 block, 12:40 p.m. Dec. 30. A male snatched a purse from a chair in a train terminal.

MONROE ST. AND SOUTH DAKOTA AVE., 12:32 a.m. Dec. 31. Two gunmen got out of a vehicle at a service station and robbed a male of cash and a bag containing documents.

NANNIE HELEN BURROUGHS AVE., 4300 block, 12:24 to 12:30 a.m. Dec. 31. Three gunmen robbed a driver and a passenger of a vehicle and cash at a service station.

PERRY PL., 900 block, 12:20 p.m. Jan. 3. A male robbed a person of a purse containing credit cards, cash and eyeglasses.

PERRY ST., 1300 block, 10:15 a.m. Jan. 5. A gunman robbed a male pedestrian of cash.

18TH ST. AND MARYLAND AVE., 9:50 to 9:55 p.m. Jan. 3. Two males robbed a pedestrian of a CD player.

22ND ST., 3400 block, 9:45 p.m. Jan. 3. A robbery occurred.

60TH ST., 500 block, 4:45 to 4:46 p.m. Jan. 2. Four males got out of a vehicle, assaulted a pedestrian and robbed him of a cell phone and jacket.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BENNING RD., 1900 block, 4:17 to 4:30 a.m. Jan. 6. A TV was stolen from a building entered by forcing a front door.

BLADENSBURG RD., 1000 block, 6:30 p.m. Dec. 31 to 10:30 a.m. Jan. 1. Fax machines, a telephone, a radio and a bag were stolen from a building entered by forcing a front door.

BLADENSBURG RD., 1700 block, 7 p.m. Jan. 5 to 11:30 a.m. Jan. 6. Towing equipment was stolen from a storage facility.

BRENTWOOD RD., 1200 block, 1 to 2 p.m. Jan. 5. Clothes were stolen from a residence entered by sawing off a doorknob and cylinder from a door.
