...had drinks on the roof terrace at the Hotel Washington, an 85-year local tradition that will reopen Monday. It is a favorite place to propose marriage, take out-of-town visitors or just soak up the panoramic view. You can see all the buildings on the back of the $5, $10 and $20 bills -- the Lincoln Memorial, U.S. Treasury and White House. The lines build up, especially on weekends.
