DAVIDSON, N.C., Nov. 30 -- Jonathan Wallace scored 20 points, one of four Georgetown players in double figures, as the Hoyas rolled to a 76-51 victory over Davidson on Tuesday.
The win was Georgetown's second consecutive over a Southern Conference team and snapped Davidson's school-record 15-game home winning streak.
The Wildcats' last home loss came Feb. 25, 2003, a 94-89 defeat in overtime to the College of Charleston.
Georgetown (2-1), which has won two straight after a season-opening loss to Temple, went outside to beat the Wildcats.
Wallace, who averaged four points in the Hoyas' first two games, erupted in the first half to score 14, including four three-pointers. He ended the game connecting on 6 of 8 long-range shots.
Brandon Bowman scored 16, Ashanti Cook 17 and Jeff Green 13 as the Hoyas combined to shoot 52 percent from three-point range (16 of 31).
Georgetown outrebounded Davidson 26-20 and had 21 assists to the Wildcats' eight.
Davidson (2-3) was led by Brendan Winters, who had a game-high 21 points.
Davidson lost for the first time this season while shooting more than 40 percent from the field (42 percent). The Wildcats led only briefly, the last time 12-10 with 12 minutes remaining in the first half.
The Hoyas led 35-24 at halftime and climbed to a 15-point lead with 15 minutes 57 seconds left on a three-pointer from Green. Davidson twice cut the lead to nine after that but could get no closer.
