HO. HO. HO. (AND SOME O-GAUGE, TOO) There's still time to catch the last days of the Holiday Festival of Trains at the New Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum, through Jan. 2. The museum's newly restored 1884 Roundhouse home, which reopened in November following damage from 2003 snowfall, features model train layouts by local train enthusiasts. The museum also offers a permanent HO model train layout with Baltimore landmarks -- and, as always, admission includes a train ride on the first mile-long commercial railroad track in America.
Festival Monday to Thursday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday noon to 5 p.m. Closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. $14. 40 minutes from the Beltway at 901 W. Pratt St., Baltimore. 410-752-2490, www.borail.org.
