. . . been slobbered on while feeding a rare Hog Island sheep and other fun livestock at the Old Maryland Farm. This working farm is home to rabbits, sheep, ponies, pigs and other four-legged and feathered friends. Exhibits include livestock care demonstrations as well as vegetable and herb gardens. For the more adventurous, hayrides and pony rides are available for a nominal fee.

The Old Maryland Farm at Watkins Regional Park in Upper Marlboro was established more than 25 years ago. It is free and open to the public. Feed machines can be found throughout the farm, where for a quarter children can feed the livestock.
