Loudoun County and Leesburg town government offices will be closed tomorrow to honor former president Ronald Reagan, who died Saturday.
Board of Supervisors Chairman Scott K. York (I-At Large) said the board voted before a public hearing Tuesday to consider naming a public facility, such as a school or park, after Reagan.
Loudoun County public schools will stay open tomorrow, which is an exam day throughout the school district.
Also tomorrow, the rush-hour carpool restrictions on Interstates 395, 95 and 66 and the Dulles Toll Road have been lifted. The carpool lanes will be open to all traffic all day.
In addition, Virginia transportation officials said there would be no lane closures on Northern Virginia interstates, including at the Wilson Bridge and Springfield interchange construction projects.
