Half Moon Montego Bay in Jamaica is celebrating its 50th anniversary by offering a fifth night at the 1954 rate of $50 a room. Guests also receive a food and beverage credit of $50 per room, or $100 for weeklong stays. Rates start at $390 a night for the first four nights. • Buy two round-trip or four one-way tickets on Amtrak's Acela or Metroliner service between select Northeast Corridor cities and receive a free round-trip business ticket. Qualifying trips must be completed by May 31; free travel must take place June 15-Dec. 15. From D.C., travel to any of six destinations, including Boston and New York. JetBlue is starting nonstop service between Washington Dulles and San Diego on May 3, and will offer introductory fares of $85 each way. The fare is $190 round trip including taxes, and it's good for travel through May 25. Ticket must be booked by Feb. 4. Nonstop fare on other airlines is $507. Info: 800-JETBLUE,


• A family Valentine's Day deal at any of five Apple Core hotels in Manhattan starts at $139 a night double. Children under 13 stay free. Package, good Feb. 11-16, includes breakfast and a choice of goodies, such as four tickets to the Empire State Building, worth up to $52. Request the "I Love New York" deal. Free airfare to Portland, Ore., on Alaska Airlines is included when you book a spring cruise on the Columbia River. Glacier Bay Cruiseline is offering the deal on seven-night cruises in April and May; book by March 15. Cabins start at $1,599 per person double; early-booking discounts of as much as $500 per cabin also apply before Jan. 31. Airfare's value is about $345. Taxes are $35 extra. Travelocity has a "Cruise Super Sale" including cabin discounts, Target gift cards and future travel rewards. Award levels depend on cruise price. For example, an oceanview cabin on the Celebrity Galaxy for a 12-night Western Caribbean cruise departing Galveston, Tex., on Oct. 31 is $1,757 per person double, including $127 taxes. Then each cabin receives $250 in Target gift cards, a $200 cruise discount and $700 in coupons for future travel booked through Travelocity. Book by Feb. 17. Norwegian Coastal Voyage has a $200 per cabin discount on select sailings between Stockholm and Gothenburg, Sweden, on vintage ships operated by the Gota Canal Steamship Co. Cathay Pacific, stating that "many parts of Thailand were untouched by the recent tragedy and [are] still in need of your support," has sale fares to Bangkok. The deal, for sale through Jan. 31, is $671 round trip from New York, including $123 in taxes; travel Feb. 15-April 15. Fare on other airlines starts at about $800. Purchase at www.cathay-usa.com.

Southwest (800-I-FLY-SWA, www.southwest.com) and America West (800-2FLY-AWA, www.americawest.com) have sale fares on nonstop service between BWI and Phoenix. Fare is $99 each way ($218 round trip with taxes). Buy by Feb. 3, and complete travel by May 11 (on America West) or June 6 (on Southwest). Fare elsewhere is about $275.


• A British Airways theater package -- which includes round-trip air to London from Dulles, three nights at the Marriott Maida Vale and tickets to a hit musical such as "Lion King" -- starts at $538 per person double plus $108 in taxes. Travel through Feb. 28, buy by Feb. 16. Priced separately, air is $364, the hotel $185 a night and tickets at least $75 per person. Info: 877-428-2228, www.baholidays.com.

• Visit the Azores, a group of Portuguese islands, for $569 per person double plus about $80 taxes. The six-night package from Azores Express includes lodging and breakfasts at Hotel Vila Nova on Sao Miguel and round-trip air from Boston. Price applies to Tuesday departures through March.
