OH LITTLE TOWN OF HUGE SUMMER CROWDS. More than a million people are expected to help Bethlehem, Pa., celebrate the 21st year of Musikfest, a town-wide outdoor festival featuring some 600 performances by 300-plus artists. Old favorites like Crosby, Stills and Nash mix with the tween scene's Aaron Carter and the Celtic Enter the Haggis. Rock with Huey Lewis and the News, join a drum circle with Rusted Root's Jim Donovan and don poodle skirts and cuffed jeans for the '50s-style Sock Hop as the festival runs Aug. 6-15.
Aug. 6, 5 to 11 p.m., Aug. 7-15, noon to 11 p.m. Free performances on 10 stages, $18-$39 tickets required for three stages. Three hours from the Beltway in Bethlehem, Pa. 610-332-3378, www.musikfest.org.
