At Work and at Play for a Day

By John Kelly
Monday, December 27, 2004; Page C11

I've taken the day off to play with all the toys I received on Saturday. I'm also donating a bit of space today so that some changes in the comics pages can be explained to readers. (See below.)

Though I'm not in the paper, I am "working" today.

I'll be at the Washington Auto Show from 2 to 4 p.m., holding court in The Post's booth and answering questions about tire inflation and the viscosity of motor oil.

Note that I didn't say I'd be answering them correctly.

In the meantime: Today we officially enter the second half of our annual Children's Hospital campaign. For information on how to donate, and to read past columns, go to www.washingtonpost.com/childrenshospital.
