E minem and his protege 50 Cent are hitting the road together this summer. The two rappers will be joined by Lil Jon & the Eastside Boyz, G-Unit and others on their 24-date "Anger Management 3" tour, starting July 7. The tour is scheduled to stop Aug. 5 at Nissan Pavilion . . .

Music producer Rick Rubin, who worked with Johnny Cash on his late-career series of "American" albums, is reportedly working his resuscitative magic on another music legend: Neil Diamond. The two have been collaborating on an as-yet-untitled set, Diamond's first original material since 2001's "Three Chord Opera," according to Billboard.com. No release date has been set . . .

Nirvana's 1991 album "Nevermind," astronaut Neil Armstrong's first words from the moon, a speech by President Woodrow Wilson and Public Enemy's 1990 album "Fear of a Black Planet" are among the 50 historic recordings chosen this year by the Library of Congress to be added to its National Recording Registry. . . .

Rapper C-Murder, whose real name is Corey Miller and who is in jail for a murder conviction in a 2002 death, announced yesterday that he's changing his stage name because he is misunderstood. "I am not a murderer," the rapper said in a statement. New name: C Miller. Lawyers are planning an appeal of the conviction.
