HEY DUDE, HERE'S MY CAR. More than 1,500 pre-'79 street rods, muscle cars, antiques and other bad rides cruise Wildwood, N.J., and then park right on the boards during the Boardwalk Classic Car Show ( Sept. 23-26). Owners compete in muffler rapping and burning rubber contests, with spectators judging the best plume of white smoke and impressive shriek. Those looking to get jiggy can head to North Wildwood's Irish Fall Festival the same weekend, with dancing, a piper competition and a parade.
