Look out, guys: Holiday season is upon us. And if you've been invited to a formal event (or several), we'll bet you're already dreading having to find something to wear. Lucky for you, JCPenney has come up with a clever holiday stress-reducer for men who are disinclined to spend too much money on serious eveningwear. Its boxed tuxedo set, by Stafford, comes with a French cuff shirt with pleats as well as all the fixings -- a simple black satin bow tie, a traditional cummerbund, and black-and-silver square cufflinks. Armani it may not be (the fabrics feel a little thin and the fit will never be as good as if it were custom-made), but it'll get you in the gala's door, and it's definitely cost-effective. The whole outfit, along with a lightweight all-wool jacket and pants, will set you back just $129.99 -- about the price of a one-night rental. And the hours you'll save on shopping will give you plenty of time to spend on that other great holiday pastime: helping your date pick her dress.
