. . . taken a fall drive and gone crafting in the Catoctins. What better way to celebrate fall than by taking a weekend jaunt up to the mountains? On Oct. 9 and 10, Thurmont, Md., will welcome more than 330 crafters and thousands of patrons to its town square for the 41st annual Catoctin ColorFest. While you are there, take a side trip into the colorful mountains via a special hour-long train ride at 2 p.m. on Oct. 10.
