Bethesda District

ASSAULTS

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 11300 block, 11 p.m. March 19. A person in the parking lot of a shopping mall struck an adult female co-worker on the back of her head and in the mouth. The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment. An investigation was continuing.

ROBBERIES

GAINSBOROUGH RD., 10700 block, 1:30 a.m. March 19. Four to six men accosted two Potomac youths, who were struck in their heads and forced to the ground. The assailants took cash and wallets, then fled.

HOWARD AVE., 4000 block, 8:45 a.m. March 19. A man in a store demanded cash at knifepoint from an employee, then swung the knife, cutting the employee. The robber fled empty-handed. The employee was treated and released from a local hospital.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CONNECTICUT AVE., 10500 block, 3:15 a.m. March 20. A restaurant was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

DEL RAY AVE., 5000 block, 8 to 10 a.m. March 19. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

HAMPDEN LANE, 5200 block, 3:20 p.m. March 17. Property was stolen from a residence.

KENILWORTH AVE., 10600 block, 8 a.m. March 17 to 12:42 a.m. March 20. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

LANTERN CT., 3900 block, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 22. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

LENOX ST., 1 to 100 block, 5 a.m. March 10 to 9:30 p.m. March 13. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

WEYMOUTH ST., 10600 block, 7:15 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. March 17. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Germantown District

ROBBERIES

CRYSTAL ROCK DRIVE AND CRYSTAL ROCK COURT, 2:30 p.m. March 14. Two men punched a Germantown boy, 15, walking with a friend and searched his clothing looking for money. The boy fought back and the men fled when cars approached. An investigation was continuing.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BETHESDA CHURCH RD., 10500 block, 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 14. Property was stolen from a residence.
