Crabapple (variety Adirondack)

• Botanic name: Malus "Adirondack."

• Flowers: Red buds open to white blossoms in April.

• Size: To 20 feet.

• Form: Small columnar tree.

• Needs: Average, well-drained soil. Water during drought.

• Comments: Dainty flowering tree free of most of the common apple foliar diseases.
