• Flowers: White, yellow-centered blossoms in June.

• Size: To 20 feet.

• Form: Upright, layered with age.

• Needs: Similar to Carolina silverbell. Benefits from a little afternoon shade.

• Comments: With age, bark peels to display spectacular mottling.
