Airport Update

Sunday, December 5, 2004; Page P02

Passengers at Dulles International can now skip the mobile lounges in favor of a covered walkway and moving sidewalks when traveling between the terminal and Concourse B . Limited mobile lounge access to that concourse will still be available (lounges will still be used to reach concourses A, C and D) . . . Baltimore-Washington International has expanded the reach of its skywalks with the opening of a "center spine" in the hourly garage. The system allows connections to the terminal without braving the elements. Skywalks in concourses B and D are operational; A's is expected in the spring. Through Jan. 15, maximum rates at the hourly garage have dropped to $20; as always, the first hour is free . . . By spring, travelers passing through Dallas-Fort Worth International will be able to polish presentations over espresso 24/7 in semiprivate work stations. The eight new business centers (two each in terminals A, B, C and E), unlike airline lounges, do not require membership.
