Data: Even Olson has conceded that he likes how his team is beginning to surge as the NCAA tournament approaches. Stoudamire is one of the best shooters in the country and probably the best shooter on the West Coast. Olson said Stoudamire is the best guard he has coached because he also plays strong defense. Adams is skilled at attacking the basket and driving the lane. And Frye gives the Wildcats a post presence, offensively and defensively, that few teams can match. Arizona was tripped up by Washington State, which slowed the game down on Jan. 29. The Wildcats also lost to two ACC teams, Virginia and Wake Forest, early on.
