A chart in the Nov. 14 Weekend section included incorrect information on skiing at Wintergreen Resort. The peak period, during which weekend and holiday rates apply, is Dec. 22 through Jan. 3; seniors are defined as those 65 and up; and free skiing is available only for children 5 and younger with a paying adult.

COST: Adults $40 weekdays, $54 Saturdays, Sundays and holidays and Dec. 25-Jan. 1, $25 nights Sundays-Thursdays, $31 nights Fridays-Saturdays; seniors 65 and older and ages 6 to 12 $33 weekdays, $43 weekends and holidays and Dec. 25-Jan.1, $23 nights Sundays-Thursdays, $27 nights Fridays-Saturdays; children 5 and younger free anytime with paying adult.

SPECIAL NOTE: Two tubing parks have 18 runs. The Plunge is for those 42 inches and taller; fees $18 weekdays, $22 weekends. The Slide, a tamer tubing park, is open to ages 2 and older; the fee is $18 for two hours. It's open weekends only.

Directions: From Washington the drive takes about three hours. Take Interstate 495 to I-66 west. Then Take I-81 to I-64 east to Exit 99 (Route 250). Take Route 250 east to Route 151 south to Route 664, 14.2 miles. Turn right and Wintergreen is 4.5 miles ahead on Route 664.
Snowboarding: Yes, Terrain Park includes a half pipe.
