. . . Welcomed in the New Year in Grand Style

Sunday, December 28, 2003; Page C02

. . . welcomed in the New Year in grand style in the Grand Foyer of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The sophisticated revels include waltzing and swing dancing to two orchestras on the red carpet, and it is free if you have a ticket from any of the performances at the Kennedy Center that night. Food and drink will be sold.

As with any proper New Year's Eve party, hats and noisemakers are de rigueur. (John Mcdonnell -- The Washington Post)
