Williams criticizing people who came to demonstrate against President Bush last week should have made it clear that he was referring to what he described as inappropriate displays along the inaugural parade route, including obscene gestures and vulgarities shouted in front of children.
A Jan. 22 Style article about "People Got to Be Free," a 1968 song by the Rascals, referred incorrectly to the date of the death of Sen. Robert F. Kennedy. The senator was assassinated in June of that year.
