Group Tours
THE TOUR articles were very informative ["If the Group Tour Fits," April 3].
I would, however, suggest that a wonderful group was omitted: Elderhostel (www.elderhostel.org).

Irish Road Signs
AN ITEM in Coming and Going [April 3] contains ominous news for visitors to Gaeltacht Ireland (the West and around the mountainous coast and islands -- counties Donegal, Mayo, Galway and Kerry) who plan to drive.
A new law requiring previously bilingual road signs and official maps to be printed solely in Gaelic is certain to produce consternation or outright panic. Imagine careening around hairpin turns on narrow Irish roads while searching maps and road signs in vain for Galway City (Gaillimh). Drivers looking for Castlebar (Caislean an Bharraigh), Ballinasloe (Beal Atha Na Shuraighe) and Charleville (Rath Luirc) are in for genuine adventures.
