. . . Stopped By the Walk of Fame Outside the Warner Theatre

Sunday, August 24, 2003; Page C02

. . . stopped by the Walk of Fame outside the Warner Theatre to see the signatures of more than two dozen entertainers who have performed there since it reopened in 1992. The varied mix of sidewalk signatures, some embellished with drawings or other personal touches, includes Chris Rock, Bonnie Raitt, Melissa Etheridge and Frank Sinatra. They were collected on concrete pavers, many of which were signed backstage before being inserted into the sidewalk.

The Walk of Fame's first signatories were Frank Sinatra and Shirley MacLaine. (Tom Allen -- The Washington Post)
