Murriel Page has re-signed with the Washington Mystics. Terms were not released.
"We are thrilled to have Murriel back with the Mystics," General Manager Linda Hargrove said in a statement. "She has been an integral member of this team for seven seasons and her leadership will be important to us as we continue on our quest for a WNBA championship."
Page, 29, was the first player drafted in franchise history -- the third pick overall in 1998. The 6-foot-1 forward was a starter for most of her first four seasons in Washington, then was a role player two of the last three seasons.
Mystics Coach Michael Adams has hired Marynell Meadors and Jeff House to replace assistants Stephanie Ready and Ledell Eackles.
Meadors, an assistant coach at the University of Pittsburgh, has 30 years of coaching experience. House spent the last seven seasons as an assistant with the New York Liberty.
